![]() Now to create objects, we simply need to stock the builder with junk. Wire them up to the builder, and it'll be ready to go. To power the builder we'll need generators that can provide 8 units worth of power. While one will be enough for the achievement, you can unlock it quicker if you chain a few together, so it might be worth leaving some space. Find an open space and set down your builder. We want to use a builder as this is what creates objects, rather than more advanced clothing or weapons. To build 100 objects we first need to create a builder, which can be found under Power -> Manufacturing -> Machinery. This achievement isn't inherently difficult, however if you do not have a large number of resources stockpiled, it may take a little longer. The third and final achievement of the very short Contraptions Workshop DLC is to build 100 objects with the newly added manufacturing equipment. Requires: Circuitry, Gear, Rubber, Steel + variable resource Transfer over an item of armor, and be sure to click to equip the armor to the model. Find a place to build it, and then again exit the workshop menu and this time click to 'Use' the model. You can choose from a male or female model for the rack, both requiring 4 wood and 1 cloth to build. Again you'll find it under Decorations -> Display, but this time under Armor Racks. It should appear on the rack as soon as you exit the inventory window.īuilding and using an armor rack is much the same process. Select a weapon, and choose to 'Store' it. Once built, exit out of the workshop menu, target the rack and click to transfer. If it's one of the racks rather than the stand, you'll need to find a wall to build it on. Find one that works for the weapons you have (probably one for pistol/handheld weapons, or a medium weapon) and then find somewhere to place it. There are a number to choose from, although they all use similar resources. Let's do one at a time:įor the weapon rack, open up the workshop menu and navigate to Decorations -> Display -> Weapon Racks. To unlock Show Off, you'll need to build a weapon rack, armor rack, and power armor display, and then place said items in each. This is another pretty straightforward achievement, however it does require a few more resources than Time Out did. Requires: Wood, Steel, Cloth, Gears, Oil, Screws, Plastic, Aluminium, Fiberglass, Circuitry You should be able to assign any settler, both named and generic, but if you have any issues with a particular person, just find another. To assign you'll need to be in the workshop menu, and then use to command a settler and again to select the pillory. Build the pillory with the required resources, and then find a settler to assign. To find the pillory, open up your settlement workshop and navigate to Resources -> Miscellaneous. This achievement is probably one of the easiest in the entire game, as it simply requires you to build a very basic settlement object and then assign a settler to it. ![]() That way you also don't waste the resources required to get these achievements. For that reason I recommend creating a master save, and then reloading this once done with the achievements. As with Wasteland Workshop, the quickest and most straightforward method to the 3 achievements is not necessarily going to be the most aesthetic or organized when it comes to your actual settlements. Because Contraptions Workshop does not have quests as such, I will divide this walkthrough by achievement.
